"‘All that is necessary for Evil to Triumph, is for good men [and women] to do nothing.’ --Edmund Burke-- this is the type of passion that motivates me.”
--Rima C. Bardawil.
Rima C. Bardawil, Esq. has been a Miami resident for over 38 years, and knows her community well. She Graduated First in her Class, from St. Thomas University School of Law in 1997, where she delivered the graduation speech to a warm and welcoming standing ovation. While a law student, Rima Bardawil received the most awards ever given to a student for achieving the highest grades in over 11 law school courses. Ms. Bardawil also received the Prestigious West Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award given only to the top Student, served on Law Review (reserved only for those demonstrating academic excellence), Served on International Moot Court and American Trial Lawyers, as well as achieving the highest honor in Appellate Oral Argument. Ms. Bardawil also reciprocated her blessings by tutoring many students who were on academic probation, and helped them achieve their dreams of graduating law school and helping others.
Upon graduating, Rima worked almost exclusively in the areas of Personal Injury and Insurance Claims. Her first employment was as In-House Counsel for Fidelity Insurance Company, where she gained many insights and skills into the thinking of large insurance companies. After a few years Ms. Bardawil decided to work on the Plaintiffs side to help gain victory for the average person, rather than making large corporations get richer and richer. Within two years of doing Plaintiffs work, Ms. Bardawil gained enough knowledge to confidently open her own Law Firm. She has now been in private practice since August 2001, and proudly serves the South Florida Community. What keeps Rima enjoying the practice of law, is seeing the look on a client’s face and feeling the gratitude in their heart when they receive the justice they so richly deserve.
When Ms. Bardawil isn’t working in the office, she is helping her community through the different Boards she has served on, such as her Homeowner’s Association, the Miami Lakes Chamber of Commerce, and other law related boards.
However, Rima’s biggest passion is in helping Animals. She is a true Animal lover and donates a lot of legal time to helping animals and the cause of animals here in Miami Dade County. When it comes to helping animals, Rima believes it is her civic and humanitarian duty to give a voice to the truly voiceless.
